Our Pumpkins' 1st Birthday Bash

Satuday, November 6, 2010, we celebrated the upcoming 1st birthday of our little "Pumpkins."  Since it is fall (& I was looking for a gender neutral theme) we had a Pumpkin Patch Party!

We had LOTS & LOTS of friends & family who came to help us celebrate.  And we had simply AMAZING 60+ degree weather in NE in November.  Who would have ever thought we'd get so lucky!  We had BBQ pork sandwiches, pinwheels, beans, salads, chips, dip, vegis, fruits, apple cider, cupcakes, cookies.... is that it?  We have plenty of leftovers, so come over for sandwiches & cupcakes! 

I could go on & on talking about it... but its just easier to show you how the day went.....LOTS of pictures!  And just a fair warning... I got too busy & had too much fun that I completly forgot about taking a posed picture of the 3 of them together.... or of us as a family.  Oops!!  I guess we'll have to stage one later :)  Anyways, Enjoy!!

One present she opened was an outfit.  Jeans & a cute blue sweater.  Apparently she didn't like it.... because as soon as it came out of the box she started bawling.  I mean BAWLING!  Jeff put it away & she was instantly perfectly fine.  A little bit later he took it out again.  And again tears, big tears.  It was hillarious!!!  PS.  I LOVE the sweater.  She will be wearing it whether she likes it or not!  Thank you Addie, Tisha & Aaron!

(a trick which Logan has been doing too & Hayden literally figured out the night before the party & he is a pro already!  If Livi isn't careful he might just beat her at actually walking.  The race is on!!)

 The Loot!  We got push toys, dolls, strollers, a purse, a workshop activity toy, lots of cars & trucks, a shape sorter, lots little people sets, clothes, PJs, a ball pit, $$, blocks, puzzles, Christmas ornaments.....is that all?  The one thing we didn't get.... a Bigger House to put all this stuff in!!!

Started off really slow, we weren't sure he was going to dig in at all.  But once he got going... he got pretty crazy!

We carried them straight to the tub.  Then slipped into our new PJs from Grandma Candy & Grandpa Tom.  Had a much needed bottle, a quick little nap & spent the evening playing with our new toys!  The perfect ending to the perfect day!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!!  We have had SUCH an amazing year.  And we are so blessed to have such awesome friends & family.  Thanks for all of you help, support, love & prayers over the past year.  You all have allowed us to survive this first year with triplets (and still be in one piece!)  Really we should have thrown YOU a party!
