Damnit!

We are on quarantine.   Pink Eye #3!  Compliments of Hayden.  Oh how I hate this. Yuck!  I read the incubation period of pink eye is usually 12 hours to 3 days, so I thought we were in the clear.  I was feeling pretty damn proud of my containment efforts.  No such luck. 

Logan's eyes look great & drops were officially done yesterday.  We have plenty left to start treating Hayden today.  But I'm thinking I'll call the ped tomorrow to get another prescription so we can just give all 3 of them the drops just preventatively?  I don't want to be passing this back & forth forever!  And then in about 36 hours when the contagiousness is supposed to be gone.... its a bleach soak for every toy in this house.  (Makes me wish we didn't have so many toys!)  And I guess I'll be washing bedding 1000 times again this week. 

I have a really scratchy throat today too.... maybe its all related?  I have heard strep is going around like wildfire & you can get a strep infection in your eye I think.  So far they at least are cheerful....

Time will tell.  But for now, stay the heck away from us!
